United Airlines flight scheduled for 7:30 PM left shortly after scheduled time. Economy “plus” seats were worth the extra money. Lots of leg room. Arrived Frankfurt with a short layover and next leg of flight was on-time and uneventful. Arrived Nuremberg Wednesday morning 10/10/12. Our Uniworld representative was waiting for us and off we went to the ship, The River Princess. Enjoyed lunch in the dining room before we were able to get into our cabin. Met the onboard masseur while we waited in the lounge and both Kos and I sampled a neck and shoulder message---which was fantastic. Since we were awake almost 24 hours, we got a short nap in before our welcome and safety briefing by the Captain. Captain Anton van den Boom introduced the Hotel Manager, Silvia and Cruise Manager, Monika who will be briefing us each evening before dinner on the next days tours.
Enjoyed dinner and met several couples which made for an enjoyable evening of great food and conversation.
