Franklin Institute–Philadelphia Pa. July 26, 2011

Today we decided to take Vasili and Elias to Franklin Institute in Philadelphia.    We got the 9:05 AM train out of Absecon which would get us to the 30th Street Station in Philadelphia about 10:30.

After seeing a show in the Planetarium, we went straight to the Train area where we were able to board the train and learn about the steam engine and how it worked.

Then we went to the area with the heart where we were able to walk inside and see the veins and arteries.   The boys really loved this exhibit.

Last – we went to the observatory on the top of the institute where we got to look through a very powerful telescope  and see hot spots on the sun.
